In this tour you will visit one of the largest waterfalls in the world, to get to the “Gocta waterfall” we will make a long walk where we will appreciate a nice range of flora and fauna if you are lucky, you can see the famous the rooster of the rocks (the male is a bright red, brown and black, with a superb crest of feathers on the top of the head.)
08:30 – 09:15 am: Pick up from your respective accommodation. Then we head to the community of Cocachimba, from where we will begin our hike to one of the highest waterfalls in the world. We will enjoy the landscape and the dense forest typical of the high jungle, habitat of the Cock of the Rock, hummingbirds, Yellow-tailed Choro Monkey among other birds and animals of the place. The duration of the hike is approximately 5 hours round trip (depending on physical condition), finally we return to the community of Cocachimba, to have lunch and return to the city of Chachapoyas. 17:30 hrs we will be arriving to Chachapoyas.
