Pisaq, a town that holds an impressive citadel of Inca times and Ollantaytambo, the last living Inca city. Also, on the tour you will learn about the textile richness of the Chinchero district and enjoy a delicious lunch in the beautiful town of Urubamba.
Between 07:30 am – 08:00 am we will pick you up from your respective accommodation, we will start the tour heading to the viewpoint of Taray, a place from which you can appreciate the incredible Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will also visit “Awana Kancha”, a textile interpretation center where you can also learn about the techniques of extraction of wool fiber and the transformation into the incredible garments that are known worldwide. Then we will go to the town of Pisaq where you can appreciate the archaeological center that is distinguished by the incredible agricultural terraces and majestic buildings, you will also know the craft market. After enjoying the tour during the morning we will take you to enjoy a delicious buffet lunch in Urubamba. At around 14:00 pm we will return to the vehicle that will take us to the impressive district of Ollantaytambo, a place that is also known for being the scene of the staging known as the “Ollantay Drama”. Here you will discover a unique architecture that so far creates much impression among archaeologists and historians. On our way back to Cusco, we will visit the archaeological center of Chinchero and the small but impressive church that was built under the patronage of the Virgin of Monserrat. We will arrive to the city of Cusco approximately at 18:00 pm.
