During this tour you will be able to visit the most famous waterfall of Tarapoto, only a few kilometers from the city of Tarapoto.
The Ahuashiyacu waterfall creates a magical environment that attracts a great variety of flora and fauna, an ideal place to start getting to know our Amazon.
To begin this magical adventure, we will pick you up from your hotel between 10:00 am – 10:30 am and depart for the Ahuashuyacu Waterfalls. The excursion to the waterfall is a fairly quiet plan to do for half a day during your visit to Tarapoto. It is a destination for all ages. During our trip we will make a stop at the Alto Ahuashiyacu viewpoint. The beautiful views are a perfect place to take pictures!
After a few minutes we will be arriving to the waterfalls, on the short walk to the Ahuashiyacu waterfall you will have to pay attention to the Legend behind all the beauty of the area, a legend that will be told by our guide, also look carefully to the surroundings as the amount of flora and fauna that you can see in the few meters of the walk is unimaginable. When you reach the waterfall, you can walk along the trails and/or take a relaxing bath in the cool waters under a waterfall of more than 40 meters high!
At the end of our tour, we will return to the city of Tarapoto while continuing to enjoy the wonders of the landscape until we reach the hotel.
