Humantay is the name of the turquoise water lake located at the foot of the impressive Humantay snow-capped mountain. This lake is considered one of the most important and impressive of the city of Cusco. You can visit this impressive lake by taking the Humantay Lagoon tour or the Salkantay trek to Machupicchu.
The tour begins with the pick-up of our passengers from their accommodation, between 4:20 and 5:00 am. The process is done in compliance with the biosecurity and health protocols established by MINSA.
Then we will head towards the northeast of the city of Cusco, we will pass through different towns and villages to the town of Limatambo, from this point we will ascend to the town of Mollepata. Place where we will enjoy our local breakfast. Then we will continue our journey to Soraypampa. Arriving at Soraypampa, we will pass through the checkpoint, where we will get ready to begin our walk of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes to the Humantay Lake (the walking time will depend on the physical condition that each one has).
When we arrive to the Humantay Lake we will be able to appreciate the beautiful landscape and the imposing view of the Humantay and Salkantay snow-capped peaks. After a brief rest and take pictures, we will return by the same route to Soraypampa, where our bus will be waiting for us to return to the restaurant located in Mollepata, here we will enjoy a delicious local lunch. Finally, we will return to the bus to return to the city of Cusco, we will be arriving at 18:00 hrs. approximately.

Restrictions
- We clarify to our clients the following: If the tourist shows signs of 37.5 degrees of temperature at the time of the mandatory control, he/she will not be able to take the tour.
- Children under 2 years of age are exempt from payment (they are not entitled to a seat on the tours or food).
