CUSCO – SANTA MARIA (BIKE)
Pick up from your hotel between 6:30 to 7:30 am, depart for the Sacred Valley of the Incas where we
can appreciate beautiful and scenic natural attractions as well as the culture. Arrive at about noon t o the Abra Malaga, which is at an altitude of 4316m from the starting point, the bike ride down towards the high forest takes between 4 and 5 hours, passing through small villages, orchards, rivers and streams, reaching the mark Huaman archaeological center – a beautiful place for us to have some free time, then the group will decide whether to continue to bike or drive to the first break point where we will arrive in the town of Santa Maria in the afternoon. During the descent into the valley, you will have the support of our private vehicle which will provide security to the group reaching the town of Santa Maria, where we will have lunch and then provide you with transportation that will take you to Santa Teresa (45min), where we will spend our first night in a family home. (Lunch / Dinner / Breakfast).
SANTA TERESA – MACHUPICCHU PUEBLO (HIKING)
In the morning, after breakfast, there is the option of an extra activity – Zip Lining (6 different cables), then we take a flat walk around the floor of the valley from Santa Teresa to Hydroelectric (estimated 2.5 hrs), appreciating the landscape bordered by mountains and nature, leading to hydro. We have lunch and then continue our hike to Aguas Calientes for approximately 3hrs along the Banks of the rive r and also along the railroad tracks. On this hike you can see the flora and fauna of the area before reaching Aguas Calientes, where we will spend our last night.
MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO (WALK AND VISIT TO THE INCA CITADEL)
Around 4:00 am we will get ready to go to the inca citadel of Machu Picchu, climbing a path through the jungle. After registering in the control center of the park at 6:20 am we will be able to see the sunrise if we are lucky, then continue the visit within the Inca Citadel together with our profesional guides who will share with us their knowledge for two hours. Free time to visit and walk inside the citadel, or to climb the mountain, is base don your return train Schedule.
You will take the tourist train from Aguas Calientes – Ollantaytambo then travel by bus to the city of Cusco, reaching the end of our services.
